Commencement marks both the end of an era and a new life chapter. At first, it's hard to believe you've finally arrived as you take senior year photos, go through rehearsals, and get fitted for your graduation cap and gown. Then you walk across the stage to accept that precious diploma that you've worked so hard to earn. At some point during the festivities, the realization sits heavy, a bittersweet lump in your throat: You'll never be together with your classmates like this again. Paths diverge. Some of your friends will venture to far shores and places unknown, others will quickly circle back home. Where will life's adventures take you?

Commencement: Celebrate It With Song

Quite a few people tossing their mortarboards this summer will have grown up with Miley Cyrus — from her Hannah Montana days to her rebellious twerk era to her very grown string of backyard shows alongside the likes of Joan Jett.
